December Wrap-up!
Our December show was a blast. Thank you to everyone who came out to enjoy the show. This was the last show of 2012 and it was one hell of a finale.

Matt Ingebretson hosts a monthly show at the Downtown Independent theater in Downtown Los Angeles called Art Fuck (http://artfuckcomedy.tumblr.com/) which hosts amazing comics from Southern California and beyond, some of whom you may even recognize from past NBT shows! Check that out during the monthly Art Walk next time you are in LA. Also check out his new web-series, Matt’s Game Chamber where he talks video games and interviews comedians in his basement. It’s extraordinarily funny.

Remember Jake Weisman? You should. He graced the NBT stage for November’s show and absolutely tore it up with the audience. Any whoops! Soon after our show, Jake was on a plane for New Orleans to perform at Hell Yes Fest where, during his set at Sean Patton’s show, he was interrupted by a particularly inebriated heckler. Of course, he dealt with it the way only Jake can: the most unique and oddball handling of a heckler ever.
The whole event was filmed luckily and was even featured on Huffington Post. Check it out above and keep posted for news about our upcoming shows!

Boy this years campaign trail has been painful. Campaignful even! It’s been a long, hard road and these two jerks never seem to get it right even after they’ve had chance after chance to prove themselves. But the big day is coming up and frankly we couldn’t be more happy that it’s all over. Wait, presidential who? Proposition what? You’re going to put that where?! No stupid! I’m talking about New Best Thing!
November brings us a yet another installment of your favorite monthly comedy revue and this one is promising to be mint. Sam and Dan are brewing up some fantastic sketches and videos and some good friends, old and new, will be gracing the stand-up stage.

Wow! We seriously have a show to be excited about coming up this first Wednesday in October. First off, Halloween happens this month so we have a bunch of horror themed sketches packed full of San Diego’s finest comedy performers. Second, our guest comics this month are Hollywood’s own Dave Ross and Jeff Wattenhofer. Why is this special? For one, Dave acts/directs/writes for the sketch group WOMEN featuring 3 (very funny) men. Check that out above.
Dave and Jeff also host the free comedy show, HOLY FUCK. It’s a show that mixes the best local LA comics in with bigger headliners and throws in some video sketches at the beginning to intro the show. Basically, a bit like ours just over the pond a ways. Come see us cross the metaphorical streams of comedy on Wednesday night with New Best Thing presents: Treehouse of Errors Vol. 1!
